Piano Services
Tuning
It is recommended that your piano be tuned
every six months to keep it sounding it's best
and to maintain the stability of the instrument.
Regular tuning also allows for the opportunity
to make minor adjustments to the action and
inspect your piano so that maintenance issues
can be addressed, making the need for extensive
repairs less likely.

Regulation
Over time, the felts compact, the wooden parts
warp, and screws loosen causing parts to
misalign. Regulation involves the adjustment of
the piano's parts so that they interact with each
other correctly. Key dip, hammer blow distance,
damper lift, and jack escapement are just a few
of the actions that need to be adjusted so that
your piano can perform as best possible. We
provide everything from minor adjustments to
complete regulation so that your piano is
working the way it was designed to function.
Voicing
Voicing is the regulation of tone and is achieved
through conditioning of the hammers. The purpose of
voicing is to obtain maximum quality and uniformity
of sound across the entire keyboard. Hammers are
hardened by the application of lacquer or other
hardening solution, or softened with needling to
produce the desired results.
